Reflections on the past Year

So 2013 passed and we’re looking forward to a new wonderful year. Although 2013 has gone great to some of us, few may probably say that it wasn’t a good year for them. Including me. However, it wasn’t so bad either. Last year was full of highs and lows. But just like those other years that passed by, I’ve learned so many things from the experiences.

What 2013 has taught me:

*Problems are inevitable in life but don’t let them bring you down. It’s just how you handle things. If you fail, try again. Always move forward and never have regrets.

*You won’t be on top forever so do the best while you’re still there.

*Be consistent with your decision. Take a stand and don’t look back.

*Never judge someone by the opinion of others.

*Don’t be so self-conscious. Generally, other people don’t care about how you look as much as you think they do. Just be yourself.

*Never let your past ruin your present.

*Life is short. Love those who love you and forget those who don’t.

*It’s not yet late for anything. If you feel like you need to improve on something, go ahead and give it a shot.

*Sometimes, it’s okay to be selfish. Follow your heart. Don’t hesitate to say “no”.

*Professionalism: It’s not the job you do, it’s how you do the job.

*Sleep on time and wake up early. You’ll be more productive for the day.

*Trust your intuition.

*Don’t take someone or something for granted.

Year 2013 sure has taught me things that I’ll always remember for the rest of my life but I am certain that this 2014, I will learn more. Who knows what this year has to offer. Let’s all hope for the best. Just go with the flow. Once in a while, the best moments in our lives happen in times when we least expect it.
